EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On February 13, 2007, the Board appointed Schenkel Shultz Architecture and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities includes Clinic, restroom, signage, and door hardware upgrades to meet American Disability Act requirements; upgrades to lighting, fire alarm, mechanical and electrical systems to meet current codes; interior painting; and selected floor resurfacing. Exterior work includes roof and window replacements, ingress/egress improvements, and additional security fencing. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2008.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the facility.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $3,330,000. The construction budget is $3,330,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction 06-07.
