Approve Change Order No. 4 in the Credit Amount of $579,883.94 for Renovation at
Knights Elementary School

On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. and Mathews Construction to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities provides for a new walkway canopy and fire sprinkler system; reconfiguration of driveways and visitor parking; interior and exterior painting; and replacement of roof, plumbing fixtures, exterior doors, low voltage systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

This change order provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District, in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Capital Outlay and Debt Service (CO and DS) 06A ($3,000,000) and Community Investment Tax (CIT) 06 ($450,000).
