Approve Change Order No. 2 in the Amount of $14,883.67 Extra for Chiller Plant Modification at
Lowry Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the engineering firm of Carastro & Associates, Inc. On May 16, 2006, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Tappouni Mechanical, Inc. The scope of work provided for the replacement of mechanical system components, which included the chillers and air handlers.

This change order provides for code-required handrails around the existing chiller pad and stairs, and unforeseen repairs to the existing chiller system.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
