EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On August 19, 2003 the School Board approved a second amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with Hillsborough County. The amendment effectively continued the implementation of the 22nd Street Main Street Community Improvement project in the University area. This project included the construction of the Kelton Health Clinic, future roadway improvements for the expansion of 22nd Street, joint stormwater facilities and utilization of joint parking and playfield areas.
According to a previous Interlocal Agreement, dated November 8, 2001, the County conveyed land to the School Board where the County's Social Services Center was located in order to provide the land needed for the school complex. To finalize the requirements of this Interlocal for this joint project, the County has requested a conveyance of 1.80+/- acres from the School Board upon which the health clinic was constructed. They have also requested an easement for a 26,819+/- square foot area abutting the east and north sides of the clinic building for perpetual ingress, egress and utility installation and/or maintenance.
These requests will fulfill all the requirements of the University Area Health Center per BOCC Resolution #R01-227 dated November 8, 2001 and the 2003 Interlocal Agreement between the School Board and the County.
