Reliable Group Architects, LLC was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for interior and exterior painting, replacement of jalousie windows and replacement of VCT flooring. Alternate bids were solicited for painting of metal canopies, application of a 3M window film to the cafeteria windows, and installation of vinyl coated ceiling tile in the kitchen.

The project was advertised and three bids were received (see attachment). Award of contract including all alternates to the low bidder, Eveland Brothers, Inc., is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for August 5, 2008.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

Total funds in the amount of $262,780 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO). The contract amount being awarded is $262,780.
