SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Key Engineering Associates, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for a water main extension to the City of Plant City water system.
The project was advertised and thirteen bids were received (see attachment). Award of contract to the low bidder, Dallas 1 Construction & Development, is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for July 20, 2008 for Springhead Elementary School and October 18, 2008 for Trapnell Elementary School.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $341,370.10 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $341,370.10.
