Hillsborough County Public Works Department is constructing a 600 foot westbound turn lane on Linebaugh Avenue that will improve access to Westchase Elementary School. The road improvement project is part of the School Safety Circulation and Access Program funded by the Community Investment Tax. Public Works has determined that an existing County Utility Easement must be relocated in order to construct the turn lane. Hillsborough County will coordinate with the Facilities Division and the administration at Westchase Elementary School to avoid or minimize impacts to school operations during construction.
