EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed Wilder Architecture, Inc. and Batson-Cook Company to provide design and construction management services for the Benito Middle School Classroom for Kids Addition. On July 17, 2007 the Board amended the agreements and approved a separate Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) to add painting and flooring maintenance to the project scope. The scope of work for the painting and flooring maintenance included repainting of exterior and interior of school, and installation of vinyl composition tile (VCT) in existing carpeted areas.
This change order provides credits for the return of unused contingency funds and final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program for the painting and flooring maintenance.
The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
