EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In an effort to bring prestigious track meets to the area, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission implemented a plan to upgrade the track facility at Jefferson High School. With these upgrades, Jefferson High School would be able to host an Olympic qualifying event as well as quality district events. The Tampa Bay Sports Commission is charged with the task of bringing high quality sporting events to the Tampa Bay area. In the past they have hosted the Final Four (men's and women's), ACC Basketball Tournament, as well as many other national tournaments for amateur athletics.
As a result of the upgrades to the facilities (valued at approximately $60,000), the Tampa Bay Sports Commission is requesting use of the Jefferson High School’s track and field facilities/equipment and concessions on the following dates:
BAYTAF will be solely responsible for the event management and agrees to adhere to school rules and standards. BAYTAF is responsible for securing event insurance and assumes liability of any incidents or claims made during such events.
