EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of The Architectural Practice, Inc. On May 16, 2006, the Board awarded the contract for construction management services to Ellis Construction Company, Inc. The scope of work provides for a new 720 student station elementary school.
This change order provides for panic hardware on chain link gates as required by review agencies; an additional chain link gate to City Park, carpet material upgrade in Buildings 1 and 5, and vinyl cove base in four stairwells as requested by the District; and sod, chase walls, and moisture resistant vinyl composition tile (VCT) adhesive as required by field conditions. The change order also includes a credit for the use of hardware hinges on toilet stalls in lieu of continuous hinges, and provides for a time extension of 83 calendar days and associated increased general conditions costs resulting from a delay in the relocation of a power pole and transformers by TECO.
