Approve Change Order No. 2 in the Amount of $8,859.03 Extra and Change Order No. 3 in the Credit Amount of $232,291.62 for Renovation at
Lake Magdalene Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Abell Garcia Architects, P.A. This renovation of existing facilities includes new roofing, air conditioning, electrical and communication systems, fencing, painting, handicap accessibility modifications, and canopy repairs. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Greater Bay Construction Co., Inc. to provide construction management services for the project, and has previously approved their guaranteed maximum price and subsequent change orders.

Change Order No. 2 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. Change Order No. 3 provides credits for project savings and the return of unused contingency funds.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
