SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Rodriguez + Architecture was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for interior and exterior painting.
The project was advertised and seven bids were received (see attachment). The base bid provides for painting of the interior and selected exterior areas of the school. Bid alternate one provides for painting of the remaining exterior areas. Award of contract for the base bid and alternate one to the low bidder for this scope, United Painting Services, Inc., is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for August 15, 2008.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $120,500 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract being awarded is $120,500.
