SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Award of Contract for Paving and Lighting at
Robinson High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Suncoast Architectural Studios, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for removal and replacement of existing parking lots, additional parking lot lighting, and reconfiguration of primary electrical services. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Award of the project including alternate 1(A) to the low bidder, J.B.D. Construction, Inc., is recommended.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Total funds in the amount of $763,717 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $763,717.
