Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Locker Room and Group Toilet Room Renovations at
Dowdell Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

John J. McKenna Architect P.A. and J.B.D. Construction, Inc. were selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provides for locker room and group toilet room renovations at Dowdell Middle School. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2008.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Construction cost is warranted at $259,399. The construction budget is $266,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill.
