Approve Change Order No. 7 in the Net Credit Amount of $25,468.60 for
Summerfield Crossings Elementary School, New Facility

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Rowe Architects, Inc. On June 7, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Mathews Construction. This new facility was occupied in August 2006 and relieved overcrowding at Summerfield and Collins Elementary Schools.

This change order provides credits for project savings and the return of unused contingency funds. It also provides for additional exterior painting.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 04C ($2,923,000), Classrooms for Kids ($2,166,994), and School Infrastructure Thrift Award ($5,629,622).
