Approve Acceptance of Project for Renovation at
Ruskin Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Wilder Architecture, Inc. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Horus Construction Services, Inc. The scope of renovation included new instructional aids and finishes; modifications to air conditioning, communication, power, and lighting systems; site grading and drainage improvements; and demolition of the original 1940's structure which included the classrooms, cafeteria, and kitchen.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
