On February 19, 2008, the Board appointed Howard & Associates Architects, P.A. and Horus Construction Services, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities provides for new playcourts, fire sprinkler system in Buildings 1 and 2, sidewalk and lighting from parking lot to Gymnasium, sidewalk and canopy to connect Buildings 13 and 15 to the other buildings, student serving line, fume hood in Science Lab, and floor tile in Administration and Building 15 corridors; upgraded security system; casework repairs; emergency lighting upgrades; various miscellaneous plumbing and electrical repairs, and locker modifications to delete built-in locks. Project completion is scheduled for August 15, 2009.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.
