Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Amount of $18,393.87 Net Extra for Painting, Waterproofing, and HVAC Modification at
Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Gottfried, Garcia and Rodriguez, Architects, AIA, PA were selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On May 29, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Quality Roofing of Florida, Inc. The scope of work provides for replacement of mechanical system components, including the condensing units and air handlers.

This change order provides for unforeseen requirements to seal corridor fire walls and replace three electrical junction boxes with larger boxes to properly enclose the wire connections. A credit is included for overtime.
