Approve Memorandum Agreement with The Centre for Women (Student Services and Federal Programs Division)

The Centre for Women and the School District enter into this agreement to provide employment and job readiness services at the Sylvia R. Kimbell Full Service School in East Tampa. Agency and school district personnel work cooperatively at the Kimbell site to provide an array of educational and social services for community residents.

Goal 5 – The District will eliminate the FCAT achievement gap by a minimum of 10 percentage points as reported by No Child Left Behind.

The District provides private office space and telephone service at the Kimbell Full Service School for agency staff. The Centre for Women does not charge the District or clients for services. Approximate in-kind support from the District for this space and custodial service is $15,000 per year.

Program services will be evaluated on an annual basis. Outcome data is shared monthly with the onsite coordinator at the Kimbell Full Service School program. This data is shared with other stakeholders at the site to better coordinate service plans.
