SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Interlocal Agreement with the City of Tampa Regarding Installation of Fiber Optic Cable for the Mendez Center and the East Henry Learning Center

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Facilities Division is requesting approval of an Interlocal Agreement that will enable the installation of fiber optic cables within the East Henry Avenue right-of-way. The cables will serve portable classrooms at the Mendez Center and the East Henry Learning Center.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

There will be no cost to Hillsborough County Public Schools for the easement. Project cost will be funded by the millage fund.
