Approve Change Order No. 7 in the Amount of $279,260.20 Net Extra and a Time Extension of 161 Calendar Days for Demolition and Replacement at
Tinker Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On March 8, 2005, the Board appointed Gould Evans Associates and Manhattan Construction Company to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work includes the demolition and replacement of the Administration, Media, and classroom buildings. Portables have been provided to house students and faculty until completion of the replacement facilities.

This change order provides for Anti-Terrorism Force Protection modifications to the south parking lot as required by MacDill Air Force Base to maintain required stand-off distances and control access. A portion of the costs incurred are to be funded by project savings normally credited to the District at the end of the project. A time extension is included for completion of the work.
