Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $32,680.16 and Acceptance of Project for HVAC Renovation at
Lanier Elementary School and Tomlin Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Consulting Engineering Associates, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On May 20, 2008, the Board awarded the contract for construction to the low bidder, Serge's Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. The scope of work provided for modification of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in Building 100 at Lanier Elementary School and Buildings 600 and 700 at Tomlin Middle School.

This change order provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.

The engineer advises that the project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
