Approve Agreement with TALX Corporation for Employment/Salary Verification Services (Business Office)

The TALX Corporation will provide verification services that shall include employment and salary information for mortgage, loans, credit applications, apartment lease applications, public assistance applications, public housing, financial aid, and support enforcement, which is all in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Nationally, the TALX ‘The Work Number’ provides 99% of third-party verifications. TALX, a Missouri corporation, will provide ‘The Work Number’ employment verification services, which will enable authorized third parties to have automated access to certain employment and income data.

This District will benefit by this service, as it will enable current employees to concentrate on their core competencies. This agreement has been reviewed by Thomas Gonzalez, School District Attorney.

This is a no-charge agreement. Social services verifications will be charged only if greater than 1,500 verifications per year.
