Recognize the 2008 Hillsborough County Public Schools United Way of Tampa Bay Initiative.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The United Way of Tampa Bay helps fund 67 partner agencies within the community that focus on quality of life challenges faced by many individuals or families within the Tampa Bay area. As has become the tradition within the district, the Superintendent invited the voluntary participation of all staff, schools, and students in the United Way of Tampa Bay annual campaign held during the week of October 6, 2008. Despite difficult economic times for all of us, the Hillsborough County Public Schools' initiative exceeded last year's contributions with a donation of $131,025.
