Staff of both the City of Tampa (the "City") and The School Board of Hillsborough County (the "Board") have been working together to achieve the joint use of the City's park located adjacent to B.T. Washington Middle School (the "School"). The attached Interlocal Agreement states the intentions of both the Board and the City to complete this effort. The Board will be responsible for the design, fence installation and cost in exchange for the use of the City's park. The School will have use of the designated area during normal school hours and the City will have access at all other times.

Provisions have been made during design to install gate access for the City's usage and maintenance. Maintenance of the facility will be the responsibility of the City through its maintenance funds.

The School Board will be responsible for the $12,500 cost of design and fence installation around the perimeter of the requested joint use area. These funds will be derived from Two Mill Capital Outlay. The City will be responsible for maintenance of the facility through its maintenance funds.
