SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for the upgrade of existing underground fuel storage tanks and associated equipment at Buchanan and Turkey Creek Middle Schools, Chamberlain High School, and Maintenance East. This project completes the fuel tank upgrades required prior to December 31, 2009.
The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Award of the contract to the lowest qualified bidder, UST Environmental Services, Inc., is recommended.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $720,351 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $720,351.
