On February 13, 2007, the Board appointed Rowe Architects, Inc. and J.B.D. Construction, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities includes roof and plaster wall repairs; exterior brick repointing, restoration, and sealing; interior painting; upgrades to emergency lighting, telephone, voice/data, closed circuit television (CCTV), and security systems; replacement of the fire alarm system and instructional aids; removal of carpet and refinishing of existing hardwood floors; handicap accessibility upgrades to door hardware, thresholds, and building entries; and the addition of a fire sprinkler system.

This change order provides for replacement of existing chalk and white boards with new marker boards and tack boards, repairs to existing window sills, and additional power and data to support new technology.
