Recognition of Recipients of Career and Technical Education State and National Awards (Career and Technical Education- Curriculum and Instruction)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Career and Technical Education is very pleased to recognize the School District of Hillsborough County’s staff for their outstanding achievements.
Anthony Peace, agricultural educator at Middleton High School, is one of 45 individuals nationwide who received the “Teachers Turn the Key Award,” given December 6, 2008, at the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) annual conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. NAAE is the professional association for agricultural educators. The mission of NAAE is "professionals providing agricultural education for the global community through visionary leadership, advocacy, and service."
Jason Steward, agricultural educator at Tomlin Middle School was named "2008 Educator of the Year" on August 13, 2008, by the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce and Farm Credit of Central Florida.
