SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Amount of $20,610.00 Extra, and Acceptance of Project for Interior and Exterior Painting at
Memorial Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Rodriguez + Architecture, AIA, PA, was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On May 6, 2008, the Board awarded the project to the low bidder, United Painting Services, Inc. The scope of work provided for interior and exterior painting.

Change Order No. 1 adds sheetrock repairs, painting of base molding, and sandblasting and painting of exterior handrails to the project scope.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
