Approve Amendment #2 of Contract #SR 01-09 with Hillsborough County School Readiness Coalition, Inc., D/B/A the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County (Student Services and Federal Programs Division)

This contract provides early education and child care services for children from income-eligible families in School Readiness child care facilities. Amendment #2 modifies the core contract to reflect the language of the grant agreement between Agency for Workforce Innovation and Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County. Amendment #2 was received in the Hillsborough County Public Schools – School Readiness Program office on March 3, 2009, from the Hillsborough County School Readiness Coalition, Inc.

There is no change in the dollar amount of this contract. The term of this contract is July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009.

Each year the financial statements are audited by Hillsborough County School Readiness Coalition as prescribed by law. The funding for Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County is provided through federal dollars. The flow-through dollars are channeled by Agency for Workforce Innovation. The School Readiness Program uses these funds to purchase child care services in Hillsborough County. There is no district-generated revenue used for this purchase.
