EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project was planned by the engineering firm of Long & Associates, Architects/Engineers, Inc. On March 13, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to Himes Electric Company, Inc., the low bidder. The scope of work provided for demolition and replacement of the football field lighting system at Leto High School.
Change Order No. 1 provides for direct purchase of material and changes due to unforeseen conditions and owner requirements. The change order also provides a 71 calendar day time extension for approval of the alternate foundation design included as a cost saving alternative with the accepted bid.
The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
