SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 18, 2008, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Harvard Jolly, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work provides for replacement of the existing roof and skylights at Chamberlain High School.
The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Award of the contract to Southern Roofing Company, Inc., the low bidder meeting all requirements of the solicitation, is recommended.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $1,200,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance. The contract amount being awarded is $1,179,560.
