EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
RHC and Associates, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for replacement of the chiller, air handlers and associated piping and pumps; and cleaning of related ducts for Building 13 (multipurpose/student dining), Building 5 (music/classrooms) and Building 14 (mechanical/central receiving) at Temple Terrace Elementary School. The Board has previously approved the purchase of major equipment for the project.
The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Nine firms responded to the solicitation. Staff has confirmed that the low bidder meets the qualifications prescribed in the solicitation. Award of contract, as indicated in the attachment, to B & I Contractors, Inc., the low bidder, is therefore recommended.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $329,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $329,000.
