Lyle Engineering Group, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for replacement of the existing ice harvester cooling plant with a new plant incorporating an air cooled chiller and ice storage tanks. The Board has previously approved the purchase of major equipment for the project.

The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Three firms responded to the solicitation. Staff has confirmed that the low bidder meets the qualifications prescribed in the solicitation. Award of contract, as indicated in the attachment to the low bidder, Air Mechanical & Service Corp., is therefore recommended.
