EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On February 13, 2007, the Board appointed Schenkel Shultz Architecture and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of the kitchen includes expansion of the servery, remodeling of the staff toilets to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, replacement of all food service equipment, replacement of all interior finishes and a dumpster enclosure. Project completion is scheduled for August 7, 2009.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $499,806. The construction budget is $500,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction 06-07 ($362,358) and 1998 Capital Improvement Revenue Bonds ($137,448).
