Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $1,500.00 and a Time Extension of 2 Calendar Days for Parking Improvements at
Sulphur Springs Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Kisinger Campo & Associates Corp. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for the addition of 95 paved parking spaces at Sulphur Springs Elementary School. On January 27, 2009, the Board awarded the contract for construction to the low bidder, Newco Construction Company (doing business as Wichman Construction).

This change order provides a credit of five days of liquidated damages at $300 per day resulting from the late substantial completion. A time extension of two calendar days is included for rain delays.
