Approve Modification Number 8 to Training Vendor Agreement Contract #655 with Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Inc., 2009/2010 (Adult Technical Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of Modification Number 8 to the Training Vendor Agreement Contract #655 with Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Inc., which renews the agreement term for a three year period. The effective date of this renewal is July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2012. A schedule of programs and training costs for eligible adults sponsored by Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is included in this agreement. This educational partnership with Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Inc. allows adults to access career, technical, and adult education programs funded by the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) at Aparicio-Levy, Brewster, Erwin and Learey Technical Centers; Tampa Bay Technical Evening School; and Adult and Community Education Centers throughout the county.
