Approve Guidelines for School Improvement 2009/2010 (School Improvement and Accountability)-Revised Attachment
We request approval of the attached Guidelines for School Improvement 2009/2010 document which has been updated and approved by the Central Facilitating Team, Office of School Improvement, Title I, and other appropriate district staff. Florida Statutes require the School Board to annually review its accountability procedures. The majority of the new text is the result of the changes in the Florida Department of Education's (FDOE) School Accountability Process. In addition, specific sections within the document were updated and expanded to provide further clarification to school principals and School Advisory Council (SAC) chairs.

Review of the guidelines is an ongoing process through the Office of School Improvement, Title I, principal councils, school advisory councils, and member groups represented on the Central Facilitating Team.
