On September 4, 2008, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Reliable Group Architects to provide design services. On October 21, 2008, the Board appointed Kenyon & Partners, Inc. to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for replacement of the roof; rooftop air conditioning equipment; and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning controls at Bloomingdale High School. Project completion is scheduled for September 23, 2009.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.

Construction cost is warranted at $2,866,483, which includes an increase in the construction manager's fee associated with additional scope included in the final design. The construction budget is $2,866,500. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance.
