EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On May 20, 2008, the Board appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services for installation, relocation, and removal of relocatable facilities on a continuing contract basis. The scope of work provides for replacement of deteriorated combustible portables with modular units meeting new construction standards at Chamberlain High School. The classrooms are required to accommodate current student enrollment. Project completion is scheduled for August 20, 2009.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish a cost for the project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $578,856.96. The construction budget is $578,860. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids.
