Approve Change Order No. 3 in the Amount of $5,703.63 Net Extra for Renovation at
Witter Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On February 19, 2008, the Board appointed Carruthers & Associates Architects P.A. and The Morganti Group, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities includes site drainage improvements; gang toilet remodeling; new windows, doors, cabinets, and exhaust fans throughout; selected floor repairs and replacements; selected interior and exterior lighting improvements; handicap accessibility revisions; roof and flashing repairs; interior and exterior painting; and fire alarm replacement.

This change order provides for cleaning, sealing, and waxing the existing flooring in Building 10 at the request of school staff following the use of the space for storage during the renovation. A credit is included for the return of unused contingency funds.
