EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Florida Department of Education curriculum frameworks require on-site clinical training for Health Science Education enrollees. At this time we have more than 112 clinical facilities that provide hands-on clinical experiences for secondary and postsecondary students based on affiliation agreements. The length of programs in which students are enrolled range from three weeks to fourteen months. These standard agreements are necessary to fulfill our obligation to students for clinical experiences. The partnerships we establish with the clinical facilities in this community are essential to our health science education programs and beneficial to the health care industry. We are pleased that the quality of our graduates provides an incentive to the health care industry to continue our long-term mutually beneficial relationship.
