IBM KidSmart Early Learning Program donations

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

As part of its commitment to addressing the extremely low numbers of Hispanics entering careers in math, science, and technology, IBM awarded a grant for 50 Young Explorer computer centers to schools in Hillsborough County, as part of IBM’s KidSmart Early Learning Program. These learning systems were distributed among 14 Title I schools in the county who participate in the Hillsborough Education Foundation’s Hillsborough Reads literacy program.
