Approve Acceptance of Project for HVAC Replacement and Refinishing at
Sligh Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On March 8, 2005, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Ruyle Hayes + Jennewein Architects P.A. to provide design services for a new gymnasium. The design scope was subsequently expanded to include replacement of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, interior repainting, and replacement of floor finishes in the existing school. On February 27, 2007, the Board awarded the contract for construction to Air Mechanical & Service Corp.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
