Accept the Lowest and Best Bid Submitted by Various Vendors - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #9084-MST Signs, Interior and Exterior-Purchase and Installation (Business Division)
This bid was prepared at the request of the Facilities Maintenance Support and the Sites and Utilities Departments to establish fixed pricing for the purchase and installation of interior and exterior signs. This bid may be renewed in four one-year increments subject to negotiations. Award of this contract shall be to the lowest bidder for each group of items, as specified in the bid. This recommendation has been reviewed by both the Facilities Maintenance Support General Manager and the Sites and Utilities Manager. A more detailed review of the specifications can be obtained by contacting the Procurement Department.

Funds of approximately $100,000 will be available in the Facilities Maintenance Support and the Sites and Utilities budgets for the purchase and installation of interior and exterior signs.
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
