EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP) recognizes our district as the school district in the southern region with the highest number of students participating in the yearly program. TIP identifies academically talented students based on standardized test scores. These identified students are then offered additional opportunities to enhance their academic abilities through higher level assessments and educational experiences. This past year, Hillsborough County had 1,654 seventh grade and 1,172 fourth and fifth grade TIP participants, making our district their number one participant. |
