Approve Letter of Engagement with Holland & Knight, LLP for Governmental Consulting Services (Government Relations)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Florida legislative, executive, and agency officials have a continuing and increasing impact on education issues.  Special professional services can help maintain effective communication between government officials and agencies and our school district.  The School District of Hillsborough County has successfully utilized these professional services in the past and Holland & Knight, LLP has staff with unique experiences and abilities to continue to support this communication.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
For services rendered by Holland & Knight, LLP, the School District of Hillsborough County will be billed $35,000.00 at $5,000.00 per month for a seven month period beginning January 1, 2011 and ending July 30, 2011.
