Renew the Existing Bid Submitted by Broadspire  - Request for Proposal (RFP) #5011-TWS Insurance Administration Services  (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This RFP was originally approved by the Board on June 12, 2007. The initial term for this award was from June 13, 2007 to June 12, 2010, with two additional one-year renewal options, negotiable yearly.  

The supplier has agreed to renew this agreement through June 12, 2011, with a four percent increase in price and all other terms and conditions remaining the same.  The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement for the terms of the specifications.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds of approximately $685,805 are included in the Workers' Compensation Fund budget for these services.
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team.  Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report.  Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
