Approve Acceptance of Project for High Stakes Testing Labs (Phase 1 Group 2) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
To support implementation of computer-based high stakes testing, the District is converting one or two classrooms at each school to a High Stakes Testing Lab. Modification of electrical, data, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems associated with each lab is needed to support the classroom conversion. Staff has planned to accomplish the work in three phases, with the work in each phase divided into two projects. On October 20, 2009, the Board appointed Howard & Associates Architects, P.A./Carruthers & Associates-Architects, P.A. and HCBeck, Ltd. to provide design and construction management services for one of the Phase 1 projects. This project accomplished a portion of the lab installations included in the first phase. |
