Recognition of Florida State Fair Authority Support of Education in Hillsborough County (Hillsborough Education Foundation)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Florida State Fair Authority has been a valuable partner of the Hillsborough Education Foundation through their generous contributions to support our programs for literacy, college scholarships and supplies for at-risk children by collecting school supplies for the Teaching Tools Supply Store and donating their facilities for the Career and College Fest. This year, their partnership allowed for additional facilities to be utilized for the largest attendance ever for the Career & College Fest. They also generously provide a free ticket to the State Fair for every student in our schools on Student Fair Day...more than 190,000 distributed annually.
